USA Swimming was often being asked by its members for ideas and
recommendations to bolster local swimming events. USAS turned to SPI to
create a Local Events Marketing Handbook for its member clubs. SPI
applied its background in Olympic sports, aquatics, event management,
sponsorships, and marketing to develop the Handbook outline and then
write detailed contents. The Handbook was made available to USA
Swimming's 2900 member clubs both in hard copy and online.
